R52 - Scalp Scrub

This gel provides both chemical and mechanical exfoliation. The scalp is purified and reoxygenated, the hair becomes more voluminous, and growth is stimulated.

  • Suitable for all types of scalps

    Exfoliation is recommended for all types of scalps.

    In addition to removing dead cells, dandruff, pollutants, and hair product residues, the massage stimulates blood microcirculation and re-oxygenates the scalp for overall better hair health.

    The scalp, like the skin, will accumulate dead cells and pollution particles on its surface, which will block hair follicles and impair the overall health of the scalp (flaking, itching, excess sebum) and hair (lack of volume, slowed growth).

  • A dual chemical and mechanical exfoliation

    PHA:
    Poly Hydroxy Acid is a chemical exfoliant that is gentler than AHAs like glycolic acid. It dissolves dead skin cells while stimulating the natural hydration of the scalp.

    Jojoba beads:
    This spherical mechanical exfoliant removes dead cells and other substance residues from the scalp. Naturally derived, it is an ideal alternative to polyethylene beads that are harmful to the environment.

    Silica powder:
    100% natural mineral exfoliating particles that are smaller in size than jojoba beads, providing a gentle micro-exfoliation that respects the scalp.

    Aloe vera:
    The pulp of aloe vera contains a wide variety of active ingredients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids) that give it moisturizing and soothing properties for the scalp.

    Peppermint essential oil:
    Activates microcirculation in the scalp and strengthens hair follicles to stimulate hair growth.

    Essential oil of eucalyptus globulus: Antiseptic and soothing, this essential oil calms scalp irritations and reduces the appearance of dandruff.

    These two essential oils give the product a subtle fresh and aromatic scent.

  • The benefits of scalp massage

    A regular scalp massage, whether or not it is combined with a hair product, will be beneficial for the overall health of the hair.

    Massage increases and stimulates blood flow to the scalp, and more specifically to the hair follicle.

How to use the Scalp Scrub R52?

Apply the exfoliating gel to a dry or damp scalp. For even distribution across the entire scalp, you can section your hair and apply it part by part using its precision tip.

Massage the scalp to exfoliate mechanically, then let the product sit for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. Finally, wash your hair with your usual shampoo.

Use 1 to 2 times per week.

This scrub can also be used to exfoliate the skin under the beard and prevent the occurrence of ingrown hairs.

    I bought the scrub + nourishing treatment shampoo combo to rescue my very irritated scalp after summer (sun + sea water + Minoxidil treatment for a year). From the very first application, the redness faded and the itching significantly decreased. The dandruff hasn’t completely disappeared after a month, but it's on the right track. If it helps, here’s my routine: I wash my hair every 3-4 days, I used the scrub every time for the first 3 weeks, and now I use it every other time. 2 shampoos (regular shampoo to cleanse, then treatment shampoo) + conditioner + leave-in conditioner.

    I followed the advice to pair this scrub with the R12 shampoo. The two products undoubtedly work in symbiosis, but as far as the scrub is concerned, it's pretty effective at loosening the patches caused by dandruff and eczema (for my part, symptoms akin to seborrheic dermatitis over the last few years). I'm often cautious about using scrubs or exfoliants on sensitive skin, but this one, when it's applied, gives a lovely sensation of freshness rather than tightness.
