Witch hazel hydrolate is a nutrient-rich floral water to purify, tone and soothe the skin.

How to use it

Gentle enough to be applied undiluted, use a cotton pad or fingers to apply hydrolate to clean skin each morning and evening, before your usual serum or moisturiser.

Is this hydrolate suitable for your skin type?

Witch hazel hydrolate is suitable for all skin types. It's most often used on combination, oily and acne-prone skin but can also be used to soothe sensitive skin.

Is it advisable to use micellar water before hydrolat in the morning?

Yes, that is absolutely fine.

The recommended order of use is: Hydrolat, serum, moisturising cream.

    Tap water where I live is loaded with minerals that make my skin dry and dull. So I use this after washing my face, to remove those residues and then I proceed to apply my treatments. I have sensitive skin and this has alcohol as a second ingredient so that's the only reason I give 4 starts. So far no negative reactions though.

    Smells very... natural. To be honest, I wasn't keen on the smell at first, but got used to it. The bottle is pretty small and won't last very long. The product feels nice on application, though hasn't really done much for spots. If you just want a natural, nice feeling product, then this is it, but if you're looking for something for spots, it probably won't do a great deal.
