Lipid-Replenishing Shower Oil

This shower oil is formulated with a base of oils and mild, naturally-derived and biodegradable surfactants. It emulsifies on contact with water to create a light lather that cleanses and nourishes the skin.

The skin's lipid balance can be compromised by several factors, such as pollution or the cold. In order to preserve its hydrolipidic film, the epidermis needs hydration and nutrition. This shower oil helps nourish the skin with a combination of vitamins E and F and bitter almond extract. The skin regains suppleness and hydration.

  • Precautions

    Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

  • 30% recycled plastic bottle

    Bottle made from 30% recycled plastic and recyclable polypropylene (PP) plastic cap.


  • The active ingredients

    Vitamin E + F (2.5%):

    Also called tocopherol, vitamin E is renowned for its antioxidant properties. It neutralises the harmful action of free radicals on the complexion and protects it from external aggressions which speed up skin ageing. The skin is left more plump and radiant.

    Derived from safflower oil and rich in linoleic acid, vitamin F repairs and preserves the skin's barrier function. Thanks to its high content of essential fatty acids, it nourishes the epidermis for soft and supple skin.

    Squalane:

    Derived from olives, squalane has a structure very similar to sebum. It therefore has an excellent affinity with the skin. Non-greasy, it quickly penetrates the epidermis and softens it. This addition of lipids fight skin dryness and makes it possible to repair the skin's hydrolipidic film which can then focus on its main job: to prevent the water in the body from evaporating. The skin stays hydrated longer and the feelings of tightness specific to dry skin diminish.

    Bitter almond extract:

    Renowned for its delicious scent, bitter almond is also an ally to dry and fragile skin: it hydrates and softens the skin.

How to use it

In the shower, apply all over the body, then rinse.

The mild, plant-derived surfactants inside are non-drying and clean the skin without damaging its hydrolipidic film. The skin is left soft, supple and comfortable.

After your shower, we recommend you apply a moisturiser all over your body to complete your routine.

    The shower gel smells a little intense, but the gas is very pleasant, although I normally avoid scented care products because the smell quickly becomes too much for me. I have very dry skin, especially in winter, which is why I try to avoid showering for as long as possible due to the extreme itching afterwards. Most shower oils smell far too intense for me or have so many additives that they tend to cause even more itching and redness on my skin. This was one of the best oils I have tried so far. One star deduction because if it stays on the skin for a few seconds too long or if I have a particularly bad day with my skin, it tingles a lot
