Our oil has been cold pressed from plum kernels grown and harvested in the South West of France.

  • How to use it

    Apply a few drops of plum oil to clean, dry skin. Massage using upward circular movements over the entire face without forgetting the neck.

    Botanical oils are sensitive to oxidation. We recommend to store them in a cool, dark place, kept sealed in their airtight amber bottle.

    The Ente plum is a variety of the plum species Prunus Domestica – cultivated for the production of Agen prunes. The plum oil is extracted from the stones housed in its centre, which are removed from the plum during the preparation of Agen prunes.

    Botanical name: Prunus Domestica Seed Oil

    Appearance: Clear oily liquid, straw yellow to amber in colour with green reflections

    Odour: Sweet smell of bitter almond, frangipane, characteristic of plum oil

    Main components: Tocopherol (vitamin E), omega 6, omega 9, palmitic acid

What does this botanical oil do?

Highly concentrated in vitamin E, plum oil is an excellent antioxidant treatment to protect the skin from free radicals generated by UV exposure and pollution.

Rich in omega 6 and omega 9, it provides nutrition and elasticity to the skin, and prevents dehydration by strengthening the skin's moisture barrier.

Its texture penetrates quickly and leaves the skin soft and supple, and is fragranced by an almond scent characteristic of plum oil.

Can this product replace a moisturiser?

This vegetable oil can replace a cream, depending on the skin type. It helps prevent dehydration by reinforcing the skin's barrier function.

Does this product help in firming the skin?

This oil has antioxidant properties. For skin firming, prickly pear oil is recommended.

Is it appropriate to use this oil in the evening?

Yes, it is suitable for evening use.

Which skin types are best suited for this oil?

This is a fairly rich oil, making it most suitable for normal to dry skin. It is not recommended for oily skin.

Can this product serve as a substitute for sunscreen for individuals with darker skin tones?

No, a vegetable oil does not substitute for sunscreen unless it contains SPF.
