Results of the distillation process
Similar to essential oils, hydrolates (aka floral water) are obtained through the steam distillation of the water vapour of an aromatic plant. It's also made up of aromatic molecules from the plant but in lower concentrations compared to essential oils.
Floral water can be used in cooking, cosmetics, and hydrolate-therapy. Each hydrolate has different properties. They can be especially useful for people who are sensitive to essential oils like pregnant women or children. All of our hydrolates are derived from plants that are organically farmed, cultivated, and harvested in France.
