Oily skin is characterised by a tendency to shine throughout the day, with recurring pimples and blackheads.
In addition to having a skin type, which is permanent, every person experiences changes in the condition of his or her skin. Depending on the season, period of life, or hormonal activity, your skin may be dehydrated, sensitive or marked by signs of ageing. To compensate for these skin conditions, specific skincare products should be added to your routine adapted to your skin type. Cleansers with a gel texture are often used on oily skin. You can also use micellar water or soap-free greasy cleansing bars. We recommend avoiding toners or treatments containing alcohol, which are too aggressive for the skin.
Oily skin also needs to be moisturised. For this, we recommend using a non-greasy moisturising fluid. You can also apply a mattifying cream that will regulate excess sebum throughout the day.
You can exfoliate your skin once or twice a week, using a gentle exfoliating scrub that will unclog pores. We recommend combining this scrub with a purifying mask to absorb excess oil.
To treat oily skin, you should avoid highly-rich textures to avoid sebum overproduction.
